This program is well grounded from an educational perspective. The course directors have a combined experience of 30 years in educational activities. In addition, they are backed by a large pool of examiners. The majority of these examiners come from educational programs as well. These include the Emergency Medicine Programs at Richland Memorial Hospital (USC School of Medicine), the Medical College of Georgia, and the Medical University of South Carolina. A "practical" flavor is brought to the course by those examiners from the private practice sector, most of whom function as medical directors or have distinguished themselves in emergency medicine.
